Its not dumb, that's a good question! We prefer real animals, we don't want to cross mediums. While it is a fake island, Pokemon is a whole universe in itself and wouldn't work ^^

I might join aswell, i already have a character design in my mind, but before i draw him,
are fishes and such allowed too? I mean, i saw you have an octopus in your group, but are fishes like sharks or orcas allowed too?
Absolutely! Any animal that you can turn into a somewhat easily identifiable design! We actually have a shark who's a trainer type person. Very athletic.
